Iliad Avalanche in 3, 2, 1...

What is about to land in this blog is the story of the painting the 24 chapters of the Iliad, an adventure of mine during the summer of 2023. It was challenging, rewarding, deep. At every turn of the page, plunging into background, with each stage of painting the series, this world expanded from the mere schematic of my first read twenty years ago, now a burst into saturated panorama.
